Dr. Thomasukutty Jose is a distinguished academician with a diverse educational background and significant contributions to the field of chemistry and Polymer nanocomposites. He obtained his master’s degree in chemistry from St. Dominic’s College, Kanjirappally, Kerala, followed by a Ph.D. in polymer chemistry from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, India.

Dr. Jose’s research endeavors have resulted in over 25 publications in peer-reviewed national and international journals. Additionally, he has played a pivotal role in editing and contributing to numerous books and chapters published by esteemed publishers such as Elsevier, Wiley, and Springer. His scholarly achievements have been further recognized through best paper presentation awards at various national and international conferences. Furthermore, he has been granted one Indian patent, underscoring his innovative contributions to the field of pervaporation.

A dedicated member of the scientific community, Dr. Jose is a Life Member of the Indian Science Congress and an Associate Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Thevara, Kochi, Kerala, he focuses his research on the development of polymer nanocomposite membranes for wastewater treatment, pervaporation processes, nanomaterial synthesis and characterizations, functional nanomaterials, and more.
